Gift Card Holders

Gift cards are the perfect last minute gift when you are in a pinch to get a gift quick or you have no idea what to get someone. Why not spice up something so simple with a little handmade gift card holder. Your gift goes from "Hey, didn't know what to get you" or "didn't have time to do some shopping" to "I took the time make something especially for you, PLUS you get to pick out whatever you want!" Take a look at these 6 different styles....

Practical Scrapper Brenda layered and stitched patterned paper to create a pocket for a gift card and one for a tag that can be made into a birthday or any occasion card.

Practical Scrapper Cathy used her Silhouette to cut this sliding gift card holder!

Practical Scrapper Kerri created these assorted gift car holders doing a little bit of origami paper folding with an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper she cut from one single double sided sheet of 12x12.  She then created the sliding card for the back of the holder with the left over scraps from her 12x12 sheet.  You can find the video that Kerri used to fold these here.

Practical Scrapper Caz Hancock also used her Silhouette to cut out this sliding gift bag

Practical Scrapper Krissy Clark McKee used a similar Lori Whitlock Silhouette file, which she enlarged from the original size so that it could hold gift cards.
