Wednesday White Pen Projects

Kerri doesn’t own a scrapbooking white pen or marker (because she hasn't liked any she’s tried!) So she used her handy dandy Bic Wite-out Pen, a favorite for doodling and journaling. She used two different Crafter Workshop Templates on this project, the white faux stitched circle and the white circles in the top left corner, are from Doodle Flower template and TCW138.

Jamie did faux stitching for the border of her layout.

Sherri’s image is from The Stamping Boutique - Lady Turtle. She colored it with watercolor pencils-then used the white pen for highlights and to make the stitches on the buttons. She also used the white pen to add details to the flowers and letters.

Barb used an Inkssentials Opaque Pen to draw snowflakes and icicles as well as writing the journaling on the oversized photo mat for this "Snow Day" layout. To really give it an icy look, Glossy Accents was applied on top of the doodled icicles and Ranger Liquid Pearls (White Opal) was added directly above them.

For this card Nadya did some stitching around the card and after she stamped her floral flourishes stamp she went over with some white pen just to add little extra something in some of the areas. (Tutorial on her blog.)

Amy used her white pen to doodle on the title and for the white stitching around the layout, and for her journaling.

I love the faux stitching you girls did! It's one of the techniques that I have yet to use, but I'll have to give it a try.
