Friday Floss, Fiber and Ribbon Projects

Amanda used a black fiber ribbon on her card. She also used a Creations by Penny digital stamp.

Erika used a faux blanket stitch in a light blue floss, around her layout to hold the elements in place, a simple design element that can really add a final touch to a page. By using light blue she was able to pull small details in her pattern paper out as well.

Crystal used brown ribbon as the "string" for her Happy Birthday banner. What a nice twist to the "banner" trend right now.

Sarah used pink embroidery floss to hand stitch the buttons to the layout, they she used some folded pink organza and printed ribbon to create two flowers and the top circle on the layout has been wrapped in fiber for a textured effect.

Jessica used metallic-trimmed twill to create the petals of her flower and a crocheted trim to accent the sentiment.

Fern pleated a 1 1/2 inch satin ribbon, sewed it down the center and then added the lace ribbon on top. She added the eyelet ribbon between the bottom layer and the top layer where it's torn and curled back, and finally she added the knotted 1 1/2 inch satin ribbon across the top right corner.
