Wednesday's Fabric, Felt, and Tulle Projects

Kerri used felt, fabric, and tulle on her LO this week. First, she cut the scalloped square on her cricut using the Storybook cartridge, then she used her hole punch to punch a hole in the center of each scallop so she could lace the tulling through the holes. She then tied off the tulling by creating a bow in the top left corner. Also, she used fabric to create the fabric rose in center of the bow. And last, she used some stitched felt embellishments around her photo by Chatter B.O.X.

Beth "Swung" into the Felt and Fabric challenge by pulling out a couple of cute felt "Woolies" critters by Basic Grey from their Green at Heart collection of embellishments. Then she used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut a scallop border from white felt that she added to the photo mat. She finished the project by adding the "Swing" title that she cut using the Don Juan cartridge.

Jamie layered felt flowers on her card.

For her layout, Jessica created tulle flowers with button and bling centers; re-used a canvas tag from her daughter's jeans, and used fabric Thickers for part of her title.

Barb S made a cardstock template with her Cricut machine and Life is a Beach cartridge. She then traced the images onto Presto Felt (sticky back felt), cut them by hand and layered the pieces together to make fun palm tree embellishments for her "Day at the Beach" layout.

Angi made a gift bag for a baby shower. She cut the giraffe, the tag, and the "for you" sentiment using the "New Arrival" Cricut cartridge. She accented the bag with K & Company Wood Die flowers and topped them with yellow buttons. To finish off the bag, Angi added brown tulle, yellow ribbon, brown gingham ribbon, and a "smile" tag.
