Tuesday's White Core & Color Core Projects

Christine loves polka dots so she used her swiss dots folder to emboss white core paper from DCWV.  She then sanded it to bring out the white core.  The sound of sanding paper to her is as bad as nails on a chalkboard...yuck!

Wendy used lots of different color core papers.  The waves and water were torn, embossed and sanded.  The sun, seashell and starfish were cut by hand, sanded and the edges were inked.  The title block was also embossed, torn and sanded.

Brenda used the Cabin in the Woods digital stamp from our September sponsor, Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps. She printed the stamp four times, once on blue color core cardstock, once on dark green white core cardstock, once on brown white core cardstock, and once on plain white cardstock. The brown and green cardstocks were sanded to show the white core, and the blue background cardstock was sanded and distressed around the edges. The different parts of the stamp were cut out and assembled so there's a little dimension to the card.

Brenda used the "Daisy Days" digital stamp from our September sponsor, Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps. The image was printed on Neenah cardstock and colored with Copic markers. She used two different color core cardstocks for her card. The red cardstock has a lighter red core, while the black cardstock has a blue core.  The red frame was cut with her Cricut and embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, then sanded to get a lighter red color on the embossing. The card background was embossed with the Distressed Stripes embossing folder and then sanded to expose the blue cardstock core.

Alanna used Five Pumpkin Friends from our wonderful sponsor, Robyn's Festish, to create this fun Halloween card.  Her CTMH cardstock was sanded down to show the white core and give some texture.

Annie had a lot of fun making this card. She used the C'oredination cardstocks for this project; embossing them with different folders, and sanding them.
