Layouts Featuring Embossing Folders

Whether you want to add texture and style to your project or even add some dimension; you embossing folders will get the job done for you. We've features those embossed cards, and even shared some unique ideas and ways to use your Cuttlebug. Now, it's time to showcase some of our favorite layouts that use embossing folders on them.

Pia

On these two layouts, Pia uses the same embossing folder, but create a different effect on each. In the first, she embossed a transparency and painted on the backside of the transparency with acrylic pain. In the second one, she embossed some color core cardstock then ligthly sanded the number to make them more visible.

Kerri

In this layout Kerri embossed a piece of cardstock to add some texture and compliment the theme of "kites" in her layout.

Patricia Folchert
Aren't those embossed candles just fabulous? We just loved how Patricia used the embossed candles to create that perfect happy birthday layout.

Brenda

Brenda used the "You" Cuttlebug embossing folder with various colors of scrap cardstock, and then cut apart some of the words that described her son. She used white core cardstock and sanded the embossed images to reveal the white core.

Sue Althouse
Sue's layout shows another great way to use your embossing folders on layouts, by adding some "pizazz" to those embellishments. Just that little bit of embossing in those leaves draws your eyes right in to focus on her pictures.

Dalis Acevedo

Dalis was looking for a way to make her foam numbers "stand out". She embossed them then inked over the embossing to to give those numbers just the right "pop".

Kerri

This is Kerri's all time favorite layout that she used embossing on. All of the flowers petals have been embossed with the D'vine Swirls embossing folder, the center are embossed with Swiss Dots, and the white background behind her photograph was embossed with Floral Fantasy.
