Snow Cards to Share

As the big fluffy flakes fall outside my window, it seems the perfect afternoon to get out pictures that celebrate snow (and my kids) and DO something with them. Or how 'bout my favorite snow stamps, paper, or a cute digi I just found? I know some people who could use a cheery winter greeting. While the scene outside my window is pretty, I'm not the only one who is a little grumpy about the lack of sunshine in recent days. Making a card to cheer someone else up, will cheer me up too!

These cards bring lots of cheer.. and snowflakes. Be inspired! And don't forget to check out our list of current calls on the sidebar. Come snow or sunshine, we'd love to see your talents shared with our readers! Email us with a layout or card that meets our needs at practicalscrapperscards@gmail.com or practicalscrapperslayouts@gmail.com.

We have to start with Cammy's snow people because they are so bright and fresh! I love that she used fabulous paper as a great foundation and then built on that. This Snowgirl card uses - among other things - a snowflake punch, glitter, and fabulous ribbon.

This card by Cammy, is bright and fresh too. Again she has great, festive paper choices and this time she puts her Cuttlebug to use with a snowflake folder. Stickles and glitter domes add dimension too.

This tag is from Jan on our design team. She is using the Clear Dollar Stamps Snowman Cheer pre-colored digital stamp set. It comes with this cute snowman pre-colored and ready to print as well as the line drawing image and the cute gingham paper! This tag is actually a card. Putting her diecuts to use, she implements an old Sizzix red die for the tag and cuts a second one after folding the card stock in half for a nice card base. The blue gingham paper is cut with it, and the ric rac is from a die as well! The snowman is cut out and matted with Spellbinders ovals and the snowflakes were cut from a die too. Way to put your tools to work!

Sherri's card was one she made for Practical Scrappers when she was on our team, and it's still one of her favorites! I can see why!! Fun colors and fun materials, and a happy little snowman!

Bev's layered card involves a lot of dimension with her paper choices and the cord she adds as well. The stickles on the digi snowman add dimension too. And that nose looks 3D!

Bev's snowbear is so cute on a background of red and snowflakes. The metal snowflakes complement the glittery scarf and the bling on the inside of her card.

Hope your winter day finds sunshine in a card, a creation, or a smile. We're always here to inspire and share so you can make the most of your day (and your supplies)!
