Valentine Treat Containers, Boxes, and Bags

Looking for some last minutes ideas on how to bag or box up those special Valentine's Day treats? Today's post will not disappoint and will give you plenty of inspiration to go and get them all packaged up.

Jackie Weeks altered this Prima flowers box to create an adorable candy box.

Kerri created these treat boxes by using her Creative Memories heart-shaped cutter, recycled cereal boxes, pattern paper, and her hot glue gun.

Brenda made this Valentine gift bag from a large size brown paper lunch bag. She cut patterned paper to cover each side of the paper bag (in this case 6" x 9"). The then folded over the top edge of the bag, and adhered two border punched strips of white cardstock. She punched a hole on each edge, through all layers, and added some ribbon, a button, and a tag.

Here's another quick idea for class treats!  Kerri created this matchbook card and placed her chocolate candy bars inside.   A simple little Valentine cards for the kids plus candy all in one!

How about some more boxes!  Emily shares with us these lovely treat boxes she created using My Mind's Eye "State of the Heart Collection".  How cute are those hanging boxes?

Brenda made this simple treat bag cover to hold a plastic baggie full of Valentine candy. (In this case, cherry cordial Hershey kisses - yum!) This is a quick and easy way to present bags of candy when you need to make a lot of treats, like for kids' school parties.

She cut a 6x12 piece of cardstock and scored it 5.5" from each end, folded on the score lines and placed the bag of candy inside. The scallop circle was cut with her Cricut and run through the Cuttlebug for embossing, and then folded in half over the top of the treat bag. She punched a couple of holes through all the layers. added some sticker letters and tied it with a nice red bow.

Not get on going and box/bag up all those treats you have waiting for those special people on Monday!
