7 Things You Can Do With Envelopes

We here at Practical Scrappers naturally love envelopes. They are plentiful, inexpensive and come in such a great variety of sizes shapes and colours, that the possibilities to transform them from their original purpose are endless.
Here are just a few ideas of what you can do with them:

1.  Make a gift bag.
Practical Scrapper Kenya made a treat/gift bag using an envelope. The tutorial can be found here

2. Offer a gift card in style.
Practical Scrapper Cathy created a gift card holder from an A2 Kraft Envelope!
Here is the link to the tutorial she used:   gift-card-holder-tutorial-envelope

3. Make a ring bound mini pocket album.
Practical Scrapper Lanette used envelopes to make her pocket pages for her mini album.

4. Use them as an embellishment.
Practical Scrapper Brenda cut a coin envelope in half, inked the edges, and punched two holes in each envelope flap.  She threaded twine through each envelope flap, tied a bow, and used them as embellishments on this Fall page.

 5.Coordinate them.
Practical Scrapper Jenny embellished her envelope to match her card.

 6.Record some milestones.
Practical Scrapper Kerri made this adorable accordion baby milestone album using A2 envelopes (Check out more details on her blog).

7. Include the good stuff.
Practical Scrapper Erin used a decorative border punch and heart punch to dress up her envelope flap before adding it to her page for some special notes and journaling.

We'd love for you to share your great ideas using envelopes; head over to our Facebook page to show us your ideas! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Practical-Scrappers/
