On Trend- Let it Snow!

One of the prettiest things about a Northern winter has to be the snow; from each tiny individual crystal masterpiece, to the soft blankets of drifting snow on the ground, or outlining the trees. It's no wonder that snow as a topic for scrapbook pages, and snowflakes as embellishments are such a popular theme. Want to add instant wow to your winter projects? Just add snow!

Practical Scrapper Kylie Symons
This layout is based on a sketch designed by Sara Noendeng at STUCK.

Practical Scrapper Danielle de Konink
used the December kit of Gossamer Blue for this layout, because the bright colors go so well with the bright colors in the photo and the white of the snow.

Practical Scrapper Audrey Yeager
I love the stunning starburst and layering Audrey used!

Practical Scrapper Mary Pat Siehl
used the Moxxie collection Winterland as the background paper with the snowflakes. She added a SOG winter stamp and some bling to mimic like ice.

Practical Scrapper Wendi Robinson
uses a traditional blue palette for her snow page, but spices it up with splashes of hot pink.

Practical Scrapper Nicole Laha
keeps her theme subtle with a trio of snowflakes to allude to the ice fishing trip featured on her page.

Practical Scrapper Erin Morehouse
layers a mixture of stencils (Prima) , diecuts (Maya Road), wooden snowflakes (Studio Calico)  and Gems (Robin's Nest) to give her page a frosty feel.

So go on, add as little or as much snow to your projects as you want...remember you don't have to drive in it, or shovel it!
