9 Ways With Eyelets

Grommets are used to reinforce thin material such as paper or fabric, and protect the pierced area from damage. Grommets used in sailing are called cringles and small ones used for crafting are generally referred to as eyelets. Our designers have come up with several awesome uses for eyelets...take a look!

1. Flower Centers
Practical Scrapper Karen used eyelets as centers for her daisy flowers.

2. Mini Albums

Practical Scrapper Jessica used eyelets to sew the pages together for this free standing mini album.

3. Lacing Ribbon

Practical Scrapper Lisa Moen used eyelets to weave and tie ribbon.

4. Gem Framing

Practical Scrapper Wendy Coffman framed her sparkly red glitter gems with eyelets for the butterfly bodies on this happy simple card.

5. Card Closure

Practical Scrapper Kelli used eyelets as a way to help close her card holder.

6. Make Confetti

Practical Scrapper Kelly Jean mixed eyelets with leftover circle punches to create this unique confetti for her December Daily pages.

7. Journaling Bullets

Practical Scrapper Brenda Ragsdale used eyelets to make bullet points for her journaling.

8. Make Letters

Practical Scrapper Charity used eyelets to form part of her sentiment for this belated-birthday card.

9. Make a Border

Practical Scrapper Leslii used eyelets to make a border
along the edge of her altered recipe box.

I'm sure there are lots more ways these delightful little bits can be used. Show us your ideas by posting a photo and blog link on the Facebook page!!!
