This Week's Challenge is Use 7 or More Items

For our challenge this week at Practical Scrappers we want you to use 7 or more different items on your project (example... cardstock, pattern paper, ribbon, ink, brads, flowers, stamps). It's really a very simple challenge, until you sit down to create and are just worrying that you have at least that many items on your project. I had to laugh when I first began creating my project for this week. I kept saying to myself, "how am I ever going to use at least 7 different items? I don't use that many different things!" I decided to step away from the project and just do what I love to do(create)and not worry about the number--I ended up with 12. I started to laugh again and then decided to do a little test to see of the layouts, cards, and projects I've created recently (which in my pile on my desk was 37)I only had 3 that would not fit into this challenge. It really is a lot easier than it seems to be! So words of wisdom to you all is "just create, have fun, and of course be practical". I bet when you are done you at least 7 different items, if not more, on all of your projects!

Our sponsor for this month is Digi Doodle and this is the last week you will get to check out our designers making use of some of their adorable digis! The Grand Prize Winner this week will get their choice of three digis from there! You will have until Saturday, July 31, 2010 @5pm EST to enter your submission.

What a GREAT idea for a challenge! I think we all use a LOT of different things we don't even really thin about! I can't wait to make something and start counting!!!

Ann you sure can use the items I listed as an example for this weeks challenge! Good luck and don't worry...I am sure 7 items will be a lot easier than it seems to now!

LOL, at first I thought this was quite a challenging project--I was going to count carefully how many items I could use until I realize that it was AT LEAST, not EXACTLY 7. My bad!! Great challenge ladies! Submitted my entry just now. Cheers!

I thought 7 things sounded like alot, but took your advice. I just had fun and "played" and waited to see what I come up with. Well, I'd used 9 things! I never thought I used that much! LOL! So much for my thinking that I was "pretty simple" with my scrapbooking! LOL! Had a blast though, and I guess that's what counts, right?!?
