Erin handed over her background paper and a Versamark Pen to her 21 month old son, then heat embossed his artwork with American Crafts embossing powder (denim). Using a Zig embossing pen and embossing powder by Stampendous (detail black), she wrote her journaling.
Karen used a Just Rite stamp to stamp her flower and circle border onto Basic Grey patterned paper. She stamped the flower twice. She then used black embossing powder and heat embossed the images. After that, she fussy cut one of the flower stamps out and pop dotted the flowers onto the original stamped image, and used her markers to color in the leaves. She then used her circle cutter to cut the whole image out together. The background paper is some old Rusty Pickle. Just another example of using her stash!!
Pia used two different stamps the apple from Imaginisce and the letter stamp from Prima. She heat embossed with clear embossing powder and white embossing powder and then inked the images with Tim Holtz distress ink pad "Old Paper". With that technique the pale embossed images shows on light paper.
Title in English: End of School
Lisa H used silver ultra fine embossing powder to heat emboss her chipboard letter "J" as well as the edges of her white photo mat. She then followed up just some sprinkles of black embossing powder over the silver on the chipboard "J" to give it a more distressed look.
The caption inside the card reads "Let's paint the town red!", so Tanya took out her red embossing powder and used it on the cityscape in the background. Embossing powder is just another fabulous way to add color and dimension to a card.
