Why Digi Stamps?

Ever wonder why digi stamps are so popular...well today I'm going to share with you just a few reasons why.
1. The designs are endless and available all over the internet, from cute to sophisticated and everything in between.
2. You can print the image in the size you want and as many times as you want.
3. You can color them using any medium you want.

Today we've got a couple more great projects featuring digis from The Stamping Boutique and a giveaway from them!

Tish created this great Christmas card using the Sledding Snowman digi.

Penny made this card with the Twirling Fairy digi.

How would you like to win five free digis of your choice from The Stamping Boutique?  All you have to do is leave a comment here telling us if you use digis or not before Sunday, October 24th.

I have wondered about digi stamps for a while. So how do you use them. What program do most use?

digital images are fabulous.. size and print them any size you like.. copic colouring them is beautiful and amazing.. they blend so well. Also computer storage of digitals is better than all the containers of wood, acrylic and rubber stamps.

I love using digi's, and I fine them so versatile for so many projects; cards, layouts, and many other paper crafts.
I find opening them in word just the simplest way to enjoy.

I admit that rubber is my first choice but I will often use digis when I want to make a particular card for someone. There are so many options for digis and I don't mind buying them if I may only use it once or twice, unlike rubber stamps which I see more as an investment.

I use digis almost exclusively. I am a terrible stamper, though I do try from time to time. I like that I can make it any size and that I can organize them so much easier on my harddrive then have a big ole' basket on the shelf. The Stamping Boutique has some of the most awesome digis around....what a fab prize!

I have used a few digis but I'm not completely sold on the idea. Somehow "real" stamping has more handmade charm than a printed picture I have just coloured in.

I have alot & use them very seldom, but I am not a stamper..I am trying to branch into it tho... I won several digi Gift certificates a few weeeks ago from a blog anniversary candy. I would love for you guys to do a tut on the several ways to color them...ie: pencils, markers & different brands that you may like best of blending markers...& can you color them in using paint.net? thanks, Staci

At this time, I don't use digis because I have this fear and conviction that I'll mess them up and have to print them again and again. Perhaps, I should find some to practice with. I wonder if I could even color then on the computer prior to printing?

I like digistamps, because almost all of the above. You can mirror them, make them larger of smaller, even color them in Photoshop or paintshop pro or whatever photosoftware. (But be sure to leave the original file intact...)
But having my room full of rubber and clear stamps feels a bit better, because you actually have what you paid for.
And on the computer you have to be sure to have a backup, because they might be gone after a computercrash. Or after goofing up yourself.....
That's the only thing I have against digi's.

Almost always now I use digis for all my cardmaking. I like that I can control the size and the direction it faces. I do still have rubber but I am afraid they collect a bit more dust these days!

I've recently started to use digi-stamps. While I haven't mastered coloring them (seriously, I haven't gotten over my childhood issue with coloring in the lines!) I do enjoy them!

I love digi stamps...I am not a traditional stamper but love digis...I do like the look of coloring them in, but you can also paper piece with them just as you do with regular stamps...i love being able to resize them to do larger stamps for a scrapbook page or gift wrap or smaller sizes for tags...I sometimes will do a few different sizes and have the card, gift tag and wrapping all match

I LOVE digis. I only discovered them in the past year and they're mostly what I use now. You can resize them, combine them...everything you can do with regular stamps plus more. They're also incredibly easy to store and take up very little space. They're the greatest!

I LOVE digi's myself. I started using them long before I started drawing them. I was never very good at getting the ink even for some reason with traditional stamps. I kept getting blobs. Digi's print clean every time.
(thanks for the sweet compliment, Christina! Made my day!)

But I'd like to try....

I have just started to use digi stamps. I am trying to wean myself away from rubber stamps a little bit at time.

I love using Digi Images!!! They are very fun to use and can be resized to fit your project. I print several different images on my page at once and cut out what I need when I need it.
