With the exception of Christmas, Americans share more cards on Valentine's Day than any other holiday and after seeing all the submissions we received I can see why! The first Valentines date back to the Middle Ages when lovers shared their Valentines by singing them or just saying them. The first paper Valentine dates back to the 1400's and is currently being held the British Museum. Today, we have companies like Hallmark that mass produce Valentines.
