Going off the 12x12 Page

Happy Thursday Everyone!  Practical Scrapper Krissy Clark McKee here.  I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite projects that are not the standard 12x12 layout.  My love for scrapbooking has consumed every part of my life! It seems I look at EVERTHING around me and ask myself how I can turn it into something different.  I also love to create mini albums; however, after awhile I began to get bored with the standard store-bought chipboard albums, so I started to make my own...and that's when things got interesting!

Most recently, I featured this mini album on my BLOG.  It was created from ordinary business envelopes.  I think a  mini-album is a much better use for business envelopes than for, say, paying bills, dont you?

When I couldn't find the Heidi Swapp memory folders in my local crafty store a few months back, I decided I could make my own.  A few office supplies (and my Silhouette) was all I needed to make THIS!

I have also used Lori Whitlock Silhouette files, a few drawer knobs from a hardware store, and a broken crate that was on the clearance aisle to create THIS take on Project Life:

What have YOU used to create a mini-album, lately?

**Designer projects are not always linked in our posts, but you can always find their blogs in our sidebar or in the staff tab**

Oh my, what wonderful thing you have created. Love the mini album, as I scrap too and it has given me an idea for our up coming annual Thanksgiving trip. Thanks for sharing.
