Turtle Dove - Kaisercraft

Hi Practical Scrappers!

Julie and Kenya here to present showcase our creations using the wonderful vintage paper collection Turtle Dove from Kaisercraft.

Julie is up first:

Hi Practical Scrappers, today, I'm presenting you my creations with the wonderful vintage collection Turtle Dove from Kaisercraft.

For my 1st layout, I used my x-acto to cut the ribbon design from the following paper and I kept the upper and lower portion of the paper for future projects.

I put the focus on the loop ribbon, I added few chipboard and wood veeners from Studio Calico that I've altered with some Distress Ink - Fired Brick.  I have also made some homemade flowers using a Martha Stewart punch, to look like poinsettias.

On the second layout I used some stickers from the collection pack
and again I inked  my Christmas ornaments using Distress Ink.  For this layout, I took my Lucky8 punches to cut the big blue circle and the right hand corner behind my picture.

For my 3rd layout, I used some scraps of paper, added some flower punches, stickers, homemade pins and red pearls that look like berries.  The result  is more clean & simple, but I like it.

Here's a closer look at the berries:

I also made this card to use what was left in the collection pack.

Next is Kenya:

My first project is a card. I fussy cut the images from the collection. I also added additional pieces of the pattern papers from the collection.

The second and final project of the day is a tag. On the tag I used an image from the collection. I also fussy cut the bell from the collection.

Then I used berries I had from Michaels.

We hope you are inspired and are now in the mood for the holiday season! Wishing you a creative Christmas!
