10 Things You Can Do With...STAMPS!!

If you are a paper crafter ( and I'm sure you are if you are here visiting) then I bet you have tons of these filling up your storage drawers, binders, boxes.  You know what I am talking about, right?  STAMPS!!  Every time we touch on this subject, it's like sitting in a 4th grade classroom and you can hear the unanimous groan ..."aww" spreading across "Cyberville".  However, the ladies never seem to disappoint giving us new inspiration to re-invent those stamps. Let's take a look at what 10 things we can do with stamps ...
1.) White ink on dark papers= contrasting fun!
Practical Scrapper Charity used white pigment ink on dark cardstock.

2.)Invisibility gets you to the right spot!
Practical Scrapper Karen stamped onto transparency to add playful circles to her layout. This is a less stressful way to include stamping since you can move the transparency until you are satisfied with its placement.

3.) Create a background.
Practical Scrapper Linda stamped images onto the background paper: tiles, church windows and roses (stamps by 3rd Eye). The small roses in the bottom left and top right corners are also stamped, then cut out and attached with 3D foam pads.

4.) Give me an "A"...give me a "T"...give me a "C".
Practical Scrapper Kenya stamped an image on clay for this Mixed Media ATC. She also stamped the image on the top with Stazon ink.

5.) Who needs ink...a painter's life is for me!
Practical Scrapper Lanette stamped with paint to make a quick little I love you card.

6.) Create some embellishments!
Practical Scrapper Kim made her cute little bunny embellishments with stamps.
7.) Add a little depth.
Practical Scrapper Kelly Jean created a field of flowers by stamping once, then stamping two more times before re-inking.

8.) Stamp with ink then emboss.
Practical Scrapper Leslii Wagner stamped the butterfly with white pigment ink and then covered it in clear embossing powder while it was still wet.

9.) Combo time-- use matching stamp and dies for the perfect stamped image!
Practical Scrapper Jenn C stamped the dress and used the matching framelet dies to cut it out!

10.) Add some short phrased stamps as journaling.
Practical Scrapper Kerri used some random phrase from various stamps to create some journaling to describe her layout.  She stamped with her Versamark pad then embossed with white embossing powder.

I am a total loser when it comes to stamping. I know this about myself. And yet, seeing all of your wonderful ideas makes me want to give stamping a try just one more time! :)
