Caroline loved this weeks theme as it challenged her to use only 7 items, and made her realise just how many different things we do use for each layout. Anyway the things she used were 1. Card stock, 2. Patterned paper, 3. stickers, 4. Twine, 5. Buttons, 6. Ink and finally, and 7. Mist.

Lisa B managed to get more than her 7 things in one layout!! She used two types of DP from My Mind's Eye, dimensional cardboard sentiment from K & Company, Heidi Swapp tape, CTMH Journaling Spots, CTMH Chocolate (small) stamp set, Stickles, white gel pen, buttons and several different letter "Z" stickers.

Thursday's 7 Things

Erin used cardstock, patterned paper, flowers, gems, pearls, rubber stamps, a tranparency and other things, including a digital stamp ( You've Got Mail) from our sponsor Digi Doodle. She used a 6 x 6 envelope behind her photo to hold her journaling, ultrasound photos and DVD.

Karen used 3 different colors/pieces of cardstock, markers for coloring, 2 stamped images and a piece of white ribbon for a total of 7 items on her colorful birthday card!

Pia’s 7 things: 1. Cardstock, 2. Patterned paper, 3. Chipboard letters, 4. Stickers letters, 5. Brads, 6. Acrylic paint, 7. Black pen, 8. Distress ink pads, and 9. Flowers

Lisa H used up some older stash and NINE things for this layout: 1) cardstock 2) patterned paper 3) letter stickers 4) felt border by Queen & Co. 5) border punch 6) flower 7) chipboard punch outs 8) staples and 9) brads!

Using a child’s board book as her inspiration (no words...just pictures), Pam decided to make a mini-album using 7 different photos of summer. She wanted a way to capture all the things she loves about the summer so that, come this winter when its cold and snowy, she can open it up and remember!! This Maya Road chipboard album, some beach photos and a few of sheets of dark gray cardstock made this a pretty little album.

Tanya's list of 7 things used to make this card were: design paper, a rubber stamp, rub-ons, Copic markers, stitching, twine, and an eyelet used on the tag.

Wednesday's 7 Things

Kerri used 12 different items on this calendar she created. She used chipboard for the backing, 3 different pattern papers, cardstock (red and black), a strawberry acrylic stamp by Studio g, her Martha Stewart markers, Stazon on jet black ink, Red chalk around the image, tulle to hang it from, adhesive back ribbon, red bling by Studio 18, some foam Thickers for the year, and the fabulous strawberry digital stamp by this month's sponsor Digi Doodle .

For her 7 project, Jessica created a 7th birthday card for her daughter using scraps from her latest Lucky Girl Crafts kit and a digi image from our Practical Scrappers sponsor Digi Doodle, Water Color Wonder Crayons to color it in, patterned paper, punches, ribbon, sparkly chipboard stickers and a traditional stamp for the sentiment.

Unlike most of Beth's other projects she designs for Practical Scrappers she didn't use her Cricut to help create this card, but she did use her Cuttlebug with an embossing folder (which in Beth's opinion is just as wonderful as the Cricut). Along with the embossing folder the seven things she used to create this card also included Ribbon, Pearls, Die Cuts, Patterned Paper, Cardstock and Stamps.
