Sweet Peach Crop Shop Feature & Giveaway

Just as we are regularly featuring manufacturers, we will also be doing the same with some of the clubs out there.  The first up is Sweet Peach Crop Shop.  Each month Sweet Peach Crop Shop brings you a "Sweet Featured Kit" with an optional coordinated embellishment add on kit.  These kits are a great blend of current trends and classic traditions found in scrapbooking.  The also offer a "juicy themed kit" that is perfect for helping you featured a special event or person.
Here is what both of the November kits look like:

I was able to work with the November "Sweet Featured Kit" and here's the layouts I created:
This one took about 2O minutes...it came together so quickly thanks to the embellishments all being coordinated for me!

This one did not photograph well...the foggy day here in Illinois was not cooperating!  Total bummer because I really love how the layout turned out!  This one took longer but that's because I punched out and glued down all those little flowers...I knew that going in and it was totally worth it!  I had seen this technique on Melinda Spark's blog and wanted to attempt it.

I've been itching to get my hands on some of this American Crafts rose ribbon, I was so excited it was in the kit...this whole layout was built around it!

This kit featured a lot of paper from another one of our sponsors "Glitz Design" and this layout is all from them except the letter stickers.  The polka dots are one of their cute rub ons.  This layout was based on the sketch that they included in their kit.  It was created by Liz Chidester from The Scrappiest.

What I really enjoyed about working with this kit is that I could do both bright, loud layouts and soft, calm ones like this.  On this layout I even used part of the packaging, a brown bag to mat the picture of Coop.  It matched his blankie too well to pass it up!

I was able to create five layouts in less than three hours and have plenty of letter stickers and patterned paper left over to do more.  I enjoyed having all the supplies ready to go and let me focus on being creative with them.  One of my favorite things about working with kits is you often get at least one thing that you wouldn't normally work with...for me that was the big black Theresa Collins flower from the "Harvest Honey" layout.  To my surprise when I added it to that layout I was thrilled with how it looked and I'm glad I got the chance to try it out!

Now it's your chance to get your hands on one of these great kits.  Tell us if you have ever used a kit before and for a second entry go to Sweet Peach Crop Shop and tell us which of their previous kits you like best.  Deadline for entry is December 5th.

The paper and embellishments are soooooo beautiful. I loved drooling over their past kits. My favorite was their September Sweet Featured kit. I can see why they sold out of it!

I use kits constantly! In fact I work for a local scrapbooking store and I put the kits together for classes and for individual sale. Someone else designs them though. I also love to buy kits on ebay. One of my favorite thing to do!
Thanks!

I have purchased one kit in my scrappy three years; a recent purchase filled with Basic Grey's Jovial line. It's been fun to work with but I was a bit sad that it ran out so quickly (I layer a lot of paper).

Both of the Sweet Peach kits look like so much fun BUT I think for a first time purchase I'd definitely go with the Sweet Featured Kit. I'd want to get the most bang for my buck (love that there's enough for several layouts). Of course, I'd have to add on the embellishments, too!

And I just now found the Previous Kit Tab. Clearly I need to prepare to join because I LOVE....everything that's sold out. Right now, my favorite (that's still in stock) is the September kit.

Okay, it's a tie between the September and the July Sweet kits! :) Gorgeous kits!! I pretty much scrap with just kits these days. It's so easy to have things coordinated and ready to go.

I have bought kits from Sweet Peach Crop Shop and love that they have two kits to pick from, either their "sweet" or "juicy" kit.

I purchased their November Juicy kit full of Teresa Collins and SEI papers and loved working with it. I have to say it's one of my favorites. I at the same time would love to get my hands on their November "sweet" kit filled with the Glitz goodies!

Yes I have used kits that I have purchased at the store. I love having pre-matched papers and embellishments it makes the process go so much quicker. I often add to it, but it still streamlines my creative process.
I also checked out the Sweet Peach Crop Shop and it was really hard to pick a favorite- they are all fabulous! But the Sweet/June kit really spoke to me, I love vintage.

WOW - what beautiful work you did with a beautiful kit! They have gorgeous kits! I especially liked Septembers. There is something in all that detail. I have not purchased from a kit club, but I have used CTMH kits and Echo Park kits. I love, love, love matching pieces!

I love their sweet featured Sept. kit the most!

I have never used a kit but it sure seems like an easier way of getting things to coordinate. That is what I waste the most time on! I love the Sweet June kit. The embellishments are beautiful.

I have used a kit before - I like it when it's just a collection of great things rather than a step by step.

I never used a club kit but love the idea of everything already matching. Your layouts are awesome, especially the flower heart on the grandpa layout. Such talent.

Wonderful layouts! I particularily like the one with Grandpa and all the little flowers. I may have to scraplift that idea for the wedding album I'm making for my new niece. Gorgeous!!!
I have never worked with a kit before, but it might be interesting to do so.
I think my favorite of their past kits is the Sweet Featured Kit October 2010, I think the colors really suit me. Very nice kits!
