LINKwithlove

Practical Scrappers prides itself on being a source of inspiration for crafters everywhere. As a source of inspiration, we recognize that that inspiration has been created with time, effort and love. It is with that in mind that we lend our support to the Link With Love movement. This philosphy asks that we give credit to those who inspire us and advises us on when, where and how we might do this.

Did you know that there is particular ettiquette when using other's ideas as inspiration online, in print or in person? That the protection of intellectual property is everyone's concern?

Whenever you use any of the following you should  provide a link to that person and website:
-A sketch
-A design of a card or layout (no sketch was provided but you did something based on the design)
-A unique technique specifically taught by one person
-A color scheme you are intentionally copying
-Anytime you know you are using something that was inspired by someone else.

Every crafter deserves credit for their unique work; if in doubt...give credit.
You can also follow  LINKwithlove on facebook and at their site for more information on how you can support this movement.  They provide regular updates thru their facebook page on current events on this topic to help keep us all well informed!

Starting at midnight tonight we will be hosting a weekend long blog hop on this topic...you won't want to miss out on all the fun!  We'll see you soon!
