Witches Brew Washi Tape

Happy October!  Practical Scrapper Kim Ryden here!  Did you know that there are just 30 days until Halloween?!?!  Stampin' Up! has a fun new product that is going to be great for all of your crafting needs during this spooky season!

When the new Idea Book & Catalog came out in June, Stampin' Up! released Washi Tape!!  Their Washi Tapes come in packages of 3 and each roll has a different pattern!

And this is one of the new sets that came out in the Holiday Catalog...

Witches Brew Washi Tape  #132156  $4.95
5 yards of each design

And here are a few cards that I made for you today, using my favorite new washi tape, OF COURSE!

**INK SMEAR TIP: If you accidentally smear a little portion of your black in on a Halloween card, just smear all of the black ink!  It makes for a fun element to your card!**

I was so excited to make these cards!  Halloween only comes once a year and lots of times we only make one layout per year.  So I have a bag full of Halloween goodies, packaged together so that I would remember to use them when it was time again!  So glad it's time again!  Time to make some cards!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Head over to my blog today to see another Halloween card that I made using the Witches Brew Washi Tape!

My Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up!

Practical Scrapper Kim here with fun new program Stampin' Up! started in March.  Have you heard about?  My Paper Pumpkin.  It's a monthly kit that comes right to your door with paper, stamps, ink and embellishments...everything you need (minus adhesive) to create a 30 minute project!

I wanted to take a few minutes to show you the May Kit.  It is a mini scrapbook (5"x5").  I printed off a few Instagram pictures to that are currently my favorites to fill my book!

Most of the stuff that you will see on the pages came with the kit but there are a few extras added in too!

In all of the card kits that we have received, there have been directions and a picture to follow if you want to do it just like the sample.  For this kit, there were a few pictures but mostly you got to be creative and come up with the designs yourself!

I love these little arrow clips that came with the kit!

Pool Party buttons are one of my favorites!!!

There were so many fun paper designs in this kit...I wish I could get them in 12x12!

And here is what I had left over when I was done with my book.  A little paper and A LOT of stickers!  I think I need to make a few cards!

And of course, I will always have the ink spot and the stamps that came with the kit!  LOVE THEM!  This is one of the best things about My Paper Pumpkin.  You get stamps each month that are exclusive to the kits!  You can't purchase them anywhere else!

Here are the card samples from the other 3 kits we have received so far:

March's Kit and the Starter Kit
When you sign up for My Paper Pumpkin, you will ALWAYS receive this kit first.  This kit includes a clear block that you will use for all future kits to adhere your stamps to.

Stampin' Up Feature

***If you are looking for the card contest - it is directly below this one***
We thought it would be fun to start featuring some stamp companies.  And although we know that Stampin' Up makes a lot of things beside stamps...that is the first thing they are known for.  Here's some fabulous projects from our readers and designers.
