This past weekend, Sunday the 14th, our message board had its very first one hour layout challenge. We even made arrangements for all of our overseas members to join in the fun. The ladies all had a great time with the sketch and enjoyed inspiration from each other. It is so amazing how you can start with one sketch and everyone end up with a completely different take on it!
Some of you may be asking, "how does a one-hour layout contest work"? Everyone was given a sketch. They had two early hints( about the size photos they could use), one hour to work, and fifteen minutes to upload their project. You then post your project in the thread with the sketch for all to see and wait to check out everyone's  work. At the end, we put everyone's name who participated in a random drawing for a RAK.
Here's the sketch:

Congrats Megan!! I will send you your RAK from the contest--already got your address :)

So you missed out this month on a one hour layout challenge, don't worry! We will be having another one right after the holidays in January to kick off our New Year with some fun! Check the message board soon for some updates and to vote in a poll of which weekend we are going to have it!

Now that we've shared our one-hour layout contest, I have a few other project highlights that I'd love to share with you.

Lori
Isn't this pumpkin patch LO Lori created adorable? I just love all the work she did with her cricut on this. She even put a pumpkin on the barn to recreate the barn at the patch (a pumpkin is painted on the front of the barn and visible from the interstate)they visited.

Lisa
Lisa's turkey card "takes the cake(or pie)"! Some fabulous copic coloring and great stitching finish off this card perfectly!

Amanda
Amanda had so many adorable projects, I had a hard time picking because I wanted to share them all. I finally decided on these two (you'll have to head to the message board for the rest of her inspiration). What a great card and treat bag, perfect to top off your Thanksgiving dinner table or nice addition with a hostess gift. And those little gingerbread people, I just want to eat up! So cute and will adorably adorn any holiday tree.

Megan
Megan is all geared and ready to decorate her home for the Holidays. Check out this holiday wall hanging she created. So festive and non-traditional in colors. I love that new Crate Paper Line "Snow Day" (just picked this up myself) and how she used it!

Hope you all enjoyed this month's Message Board features. Be sure to stop in daily and play along in our question of the day from our design team members and please share any projects that you haven't submitted to us there. We'd love to see your creations!
