Cards using Embossing

Embossing, in any form you find it, adds a beautiful one of a kind touch to a project.  Each of us approaches it differently and I always enjoy seeing all the different results.  This week we focus on embossing of any type, beginning with cards.  We'd love to see a layout for our Wednesday feature if you have one to share!  Just send us an email link at practicalscrapperslayouts@gmail.com

Practical Scrapper Mary Pat Siehl

Practical Scrapper Ann Jobes

Practical Scrapper Carolina used ultra thick embossing enamel for this simple trifold card and envelope because she likes how it looks bumpy.

Practical Scrapper Corinna used her Cuttlebug to emboss this card

Practical Scrapper Laura used the reversed embossed image of the butterflies.

Practical Scrapper Cathy used a cloud embossing folder from Darice and  just a bit of Old Paper Distress Ink to enhance the clouds.

Practical Scrapper Caz  used zing embossing powder along with a background stamp on the wood veneer sunburst to add more dimension to it

Practical Scrapper Christine embossed just the bottom half of her card.  She added stickles to the embossing to add some color and dimension.

Practical Scrapper Kerri embossed her butterfly with her Cuttlebug butterfly die/embossing combo set.  After she embossed it, she cover it with Glossy Accents to add more dimesion to  the already embossed area.  Here's a close-up...
