Altered items are a popular trend, and a great way to
make inexpensive organization items too. This set
was made by Practical Scrapper Laura, using a
coordinating paper and sticker pack from Echo Park,
and a little paint, ink, bling, and twine, the result is a
colorful addition to any craft room....to hold buttons,
ribbons, or anything:
And a closer view:
Instead of the mess of painting wooden pieces....
paint daubers like these:
Are a quick and easy way to decorate bare wood,
chipboard, paper, whatever! Just run the sponge
dauber over the areas you want to coat:
Then decorate with paper and stickers to get the final
product. Great little storage item that is right at home
in a crafty space!

Very nice Laura...
Great project Laura!
GREAT project, Laura!!! Love the color combos. I'm "reorganizing" my scrappy space (actually still putting some things away after switching rooms with dd) and doing something like this would help brighten and clean up some of my space. :) Thanks for sharing!!!

Great project Laura! Cute and practical "Home Decor" projects are what I like. I will have to see if my M's, HL or J's have those paint daubers. Love that paper you got over at cropchocolate.com!

great project! I love those dabbers but haven't gotten them yet - still using my acrylic paints; but these are awesome and I will have to troll for a good deal on them - love that EP paper line too.
