Update Your Stash: Flowers

Here at Practical Scrappers we do our best to be practical - making use of things that we have.  Thus begins a new feature for us here...Update Your Stash.  Each month we'll focus on how you can use something old in a fresh, new, possibly even trendy way.  We're kicking things off with flowers.  Have you noticed that in the last year the look of flowers in the scrapbooking industry has changed dramatically?  Everything is dimensional and more realistic looking.  It's almost gotten hard to find the flat paper and silk flowers of old (often referred to as Prima flowers...but we know they come in many brands), but if you are like me you still have a bunch in your stash.  Here's some new ideas of how to use them:
Practical Scrapper Christa played up the rainbow trend and got rid of tons of flowers all while creating a striking layout.

Practical Scrapper Brenda used some very old tiny Prima flowers on this layout. I stitched them across the top of a border punched strip to use them as a page accent.
