Christine's Top 10 Projects

It has been such a fun year for me in my papercrafting!  Before 2011 I barely made cards or altered projects, now they are a big part of my repertoire!  I've had so much fun going back and looking thru projects and trying to pick some from throughout the year.  Here's my Top 10 that I came up with!
1.  Created this one just for fun using Authentiques Glowing Line.  I loved the diamonds and they fussy cut fabulously.

2. I made this card for my little boys first day of school, it's so fun and whimsical - I love what I did with teh Momenta paper and also all the doodling.

3. I made this layout for a kit feature for Burlap & Buttercups kit club. Love the patterned paper chevrons I made.

4. I also made this card for the Burlap and Buttercups feature.

5. This was my first layout as a designer for Momenta, plus I can't resist the pictures of my little boy in his "Son of a Scrapbooker onesie :)"

6.  Made this one just for fun this fall, love that I got so many photos on it but still have some white space!

7. I made this for the Bella Blvd feature last winter here on Practical Scrappers

8. Love all the Jillibean soup goodness and the paperfolding adding dimension.

9. Made this menu board as a project for Momenta

10. A card with a fun dimensional flower made for Momenta

I did not find a common ground like Erin did, except that they are all cheery and bright projects.  Hope you've enjoyed my review, come back tomorrow to check out Kerri's Top 10!

Altered Charger Plate

Do you need a quick, last minute project?  Are you as short on time as me? I direct a children's Christmas musical and that has eaten away at a lot of my crafty time!  I needed a quick gift that still had that "wow" factor.  Sometimes I am just amazed with what you can do with papercrafting supplies and other items you have on hand.  I had purchased a couple of charger plates to have on hand and decided to decorate one of those and make it into a cute winter decoration.  I went with a red plate and used silver letters from Momenta and snowflake stickers also from Momenta.  I measured carefully to make sure my letters were straight and even (quite a task on a circle!) and after placing those on added the snowflakes and gems randomly throughout.  To get started I followed the triangle rule of design and did my big snowflakes in a couple triangles first, then from there it was completely random.

Momenta Feature & Giveaway!

We've got three different ways for you to win some Momenta goodies today but first we've got some fabulous projects featuring Momenta products.  Here in the states you can find Momenta in many local scrapbook stores but also in Joanns, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Archivers.  Just look for that blue/green four petal icon that you see in the picture below and you've found their stuff!  Momenta also has a fabulous blog where you'll find a variety of inspiration!

Now on to some projects!
Practical Scrapper Aymee used this box from a Momenta card kit (yes there card kits come in these stunning boxes!) and personalized it.

After seeing all those projects I bet you can't wait to get your hands on some Momenta goodies!  Today we've got three different ways to win:
1) Become a follower here and like Momenta on facebook (click on the link - it will take you there).  Leave a comment on their wall telling them Practical Scrappers sent you.  We will pick two winners from those comments on their wall.  One person will win an 8 X 8 Captain Jack album kit and another will win some DYO stickers.  As an added bonus they are trying hard to reach 2000 fans on facebook...so getting your name on their wall now gets you a chance in a giveaway for that too!
2) Go to Christine's blog and enter to win some Momenta stickers there.
Neither requires you to leave a comment here, but you are welcome to if you want to :)
